Meet the Team
Meet the heart of Aqua Om Paddle—our passionate, experienced team is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences on and off the water.

Founder & Director
Kami
Kami Kiritsis is the owner of Aqua Om Paddle and The Yoga Place, where she brings together her passion for movement, nature, and community.
Her journey began with the purchase of her first stand-up paddleboard and a deep curiosity to learn more. After discovering SUP yoga online, she gave it a try and was hooked from the very first time. For Kami, the water has always held a healing quality. Whether in, on, or near it, she feels a sense of calm, ease, and connection. The fluidity of water continues to shape how she moves through life, open, adaptable, and grounded.
What started with just 8 boards, 3 classes, and a simple idea, to make paddleboarding accessible in Berks County, quickly grew into something more. Alongside co-founder Melissa, Kami helped introduce stand-up paddleboarding to the area, building what would become the first SUP business in Berks County.
As Aqua Om evolved, so did the experiences. Kami began blending her love for the outdoors with other practices that shaped her life, such as; hiking, camping, yoga, and nature-based experiences designed to help others reconnect with themselves and the world around them.
Today, she continues to guide others in finding that same sense of peace, confidence, and adventure—whether on the water, on the trail, or on the mat. Looking back, it’s humbling to see how far Aqua Om has come… and exciting to imagine where it will go next.

Adventure Guide, Wilderness First Aid Provider
Barbara
For Barbara, time outside isn’t optional—it’s essential. Hiking is as natural to her as breathing, offering a steady rhythm that keeps her grounded and connected.
She found paddleboarding after realizing kayaking came with more gear than freedom—and one lesson was all it took. Since then, she’s been drawn to the simplicity of life on the water, whether exploring quiet shorelines, practicing yoga or Pilates, racing, or floating with friends.
Barbara’s love for the outdoors began early and deepened through years of adventuring with her children—camping, kayaking, and learning together. Guiding became a natural extension of that journey, helping others feel safe, confident, and at home in nature.
She holds a BS and MS in Natural Health and is a registered nurse, with certifications in Wilderness First Aid and CPR, along with training in Healing Touch and Reiki. She has completed the entire Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania and explored trails across the U.S., as well as in Central America and Iceland.
Whether on the trail or the water, Barbara brings a calm, steady presence rooted in care—for both people and the places we explore.
When she’s not guiding, she’s outside—watching the moon rise, tracking the seasons, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of nature.

Junior SUP Guide
Abby
Abigail, who also goes by Abby, has been paddleboarding since she was just 9 years old. What started as a fun way to get on the water quickly became a true love for the outdoors and the calm, clear-headed feeling it brings.
For Abby, being outside is where everything slows down. It’s where she can reset, breathe, and feel fully present—and that’s something she loves sharing with others.
As a guide, Abby brings a fun, welcoming energy that helps people feel comfortable right away. She enjoys connecting with both first-time paddlers and experienced adventurers, knowing that everyone starts somewhere. Her goal is to help others feel confident, supported, and excited to explore.
She is certified in CPR and First Aid, earned through her health career studies, and brings that knowledge into every experience she leads.
On the board, Abby loves to keep things playful—practicing tricks, moving around, and adding in arm workouts. One of her favorite spots at Blue Marsh Lake is Turtle Cove, where it’s rare to visit without spotting turtles soaking up the sun.

Head of Kayak Division, Adventure Guide
Keith
Keith feels most at home on the water. It’s where he goes to clear his head, slow things down, and reset.
Most mornings, if he’s free, you’ll find him out there with a cup of coffee—especially when the lake is calm and quiet. He’s always been drawn to the simpler side of being outside: fresh air, still water, and space to think.
Over time, being on the water became more than a routine—it became part of who he is. Now, he shares that experience with others in a way that feels easy and approachable.
Keith loves guiding people, especially watching them come back season after season. There’s something about seeing it click for someone—that moment when they relax, find their balance, and start to really enjoy it—that never gets old.
His style is simple and steady: no pressure, no overthinking—just get out there and enjoy it.
If you do happen to catch him on land, he’s probably in a hammock… or chasing after his two adorable corgis.

Adventure Guide
Morgan
Morgan grew up in the woods of Neversink Mountain, immersed in fantastical stories of the fae and armed with books about tiny bugs, rocks, and edible plants that she and her brother would eagerly study.
Together, they scrambled up cliffs overlooking the city she now calls home and competed to see who could climb the highest tree.
That early sense of curiosity never faded. Instead, it grew into a lifelong connection to the natural world and a desire to share its wonder with others.
For Morgan, being outside is where she feels most like herself—curious, open, and joyful. These are the qualities she brings into every experience, creating space for others to explore, learn, and reconnect with nature in their own way. On her adventures, she’s not just guiding the way—she’s sharing knowledge along the trail, from local flora and fauna to hiking etiquette and safety.
When she’s not guiding, you’ll likely find her paddleboarding along the Schuylkill River, outdoor rock climbing, or hiking the trails around Reading—always in search of her next small moment of discovery.

SUP Coach, Adventure Guide
Steve
Steve grew up drawn to the outdoors — hiking, swimming, camping, canoeing. Life has a way of pulling you indoors. Paddleboarding pulled him back out, and somewhere on the water he remembered why that version of himself mattered.
One of the most fulfilling parts of coaching SUP is seeing people make the shift — from trying to stay upright to feeling strong, confident, and free on the water. Steve is as focused on paddle technique as he is on you — because how you move best is how you’ll enjoy it most. Whether you’re chasing performance, refining your stroke technique, or simply wanting time on the water to feel more natural, he’ll meet you where you are.
With CPR/First Aid and water safety training, and years of paddling both recreationally and competitively, he brings both care and experience to every session.
Although Steve got into SUP initially as an individual pursuit, and his competitive streak led him into racing, the community added something he didn’t expect — and sharing that with new paddlers is part of what makes coaching meaningful.
Coffee before anything, water shortly after — it’s a good day when both happen.
