OUTDOOR SUP YOGA

Enjoy the gentle and therapeutic nature of a Yoga practice, coupled with the soothing effects of the water. Challenge your balance and engage the mind, body and spirit while floating into a world of rejuvenation and respite.

Lake Classes:

You will begin your SUP Yoga class with a lesson on the shore to teach you launching, paddling, how to stand and basic SUP safety procedures. Then we will paddle to a secluded spot on the lake and anchor to our floating Yoga studio. After your guided class you will enjoy a soothing savasana that gently rocks you into complete relaxation. Price includes a15 minute free paddle after class.

OUTDOOR PADDLE PUMP

The perfect practice for those looking for a high intensity, yet low impact workout. This class will increase core strength and flexibility while practicing strength building sequences of mindful movements such as squats, planks, bicep curls and more on a SUP. You will sweat, laugh and have fun as you challenge your body to stay balanced.

SUP RENTALS

Explore the wonder of nature and the beauty of the outdoors with the freedom of a SUP. We have four different types of SUPs that can be rented on an hourly basis. Each rental will begin with a lesson on the shore to teach you launching, paddling, how to stand and basic SUP safety procedures. Special rates available for groups. Contact us for group rates or if you have a specific board you would like to rent. Available boards are featured in our shop.

FLOATING MEDITATION

Meditation can remove stress and replace with a dose of inner peace. It is a natural remedy we all have at our disposal but sometimes knowing how to start is the hardest part. One of the easiest ways to begin meditating is with mindful body movements and surrounding yourself in nature. That is why we feel that meditating on top of a SUP board is a great way to start. Meditation can help you disconnect from every day stress and mental demands and help you reconnect with yourself.  Some benefits of meditation are; increase in ability to focus, anxiety and depression management, reduction of stress and pain and an improved immune system.

MINDFUL MOVEMENTS FOR ATHLETES

Yoga is for all, athletes included. Yoga works on flexibility, strength, core, agility, endurance, balance, and mindfulness around the sport. It reinforces the focus of enjoying the sport vs just the win of the game. Yoga balances out the muscles, reduces injuries and can help recover from injuries in a safe manner. 

 

Adding Yoga into sport’s training regiment will help with:

  • FLEXIBILITY: Practicing Yoga increases flexibility, and ease of movement, increasing range of motion. Flexibility also reduces injuries. 

  • STRENGTH: Constantly holding up your body weight will build your strength that no amount of weight lifting can provide. 

  • CORE: Almost every pose in Yoga works and builds core strength. A strong core equates to a healthy back and body. 

  • ENDURANCE: Breath awareness is essential to a Yoga practice. When we breathe properly inhalations are lengthened and lung capacity is increased. This, in turn, delivers more oxygen to the body and helps overall performance and efficiency. 

  • BALANCE: Balancing poses improve overall balance and stability throughout the entire body which prevents injuries and falls. 

 

Team packages are available for 4-8 week programs. You can come to one of the many facilities we partner with in Berks County or we can travel to your location of choice.
