We currently have three classes weekly available using the Zoom Meeting platform.
Gentle Yoga, Tuesday 9:00am:
Gentle Yoga is a safe and simple approach for someone who is looking for a slow and easy paced class that focuses on deep breathing, relaxation and stretching while building strength and flexibility throughout the body. This class is a good fit for someone looking to begin a Yoga practice, recovering from an injury, or has limitations that need a modified approach.
Chair Yoga, Tuesday 11:00am:
Chair Yoga is one of the gentlest forms of yoga available. Postures and breathing exercises are practiced with the aid of a chair allowing the practitioner to experience the many benefits of Yoga without frequent transitions of seated to standing. Some or all of the class may be practiced seated in a chair or wheel chair. Just like a regular yoga practice, Chair Yoga increases flexibility, strength and body awareness.
The class is appropriate for all levels of activity. It is perfect for seniors and those recovering from an injury.
All Levels Hatha, Wednesday 6:30pm:
Hatha Yoga encompasses all styles of Yoga. The postures and focus on breath bring calm to the mind and body. The class is suitable for a beginner, poses are held for several breaths allowing time to find ease or modify the pose to fit your needs.
ONLINE YOGA TIPS:
Registration is required. Once you register you will receive an email confirmation that includes a link to the class.
Music is not played by the instructor. If you would like music for your practice please wait until class has started to turn it on.
You can choose to have your video on or off during the class. This can be changed at any time.
